Steve Tracy, Founder

 I launched my professional journey in 1991 after graduating with a degree in architecture. For the first 11 years, I honed my skills across diverse commercial projects at various architecture firms. In 2002, I embarked on a solo venture focusing on designing dream homes and cabins, particularly those featuring timber frame structures. In 2014, my studio merged with a timber frame company, where I became a partner and head of design. This experience solidified my passion for designing and building custom homes and cabins.

My background is steeped in high-performance construction techniques, building science, and off-site fabrication efficiencies. I have also had the opportunity to be part of the construction team physically building projects I have designed. The experience has given me a better perspective on the construction side of projects and the challenges associtaed with executing the ideas from the design phase. My experience designing + building in challenging conditions provides expertise when planning to build in a remote location. All of this translates into exceptional homes and cabins that are not only beautiful but also comfortable, healthy and built to last.
